Terms and Conditions
Please read the following agreement carefully before completing your reservation request. It states what En France Tours agrees to provide when you sign up for a tour, and what you agree to do in return. Payment of the deposit indicates you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
Tours Prices: Tour prices are quoted per person, double occupancy (two people sharing a room) and do not include airfare. Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars based on exchange rates known at the time of publication and cost expected at the time the tour is scheduled. Land cost is quoted as a package and credits are not given for services not used.
Included in the price of each tour: Accompaniment and sightseeing led by an EFT guide and by local guides when appropriate; admissions to sights seen as a group; all breakfasts and dinners; accommodations each night in 3-star hotels or B&Bs; land transportation and transfers from airport or train station on arrival and departure as scheduled in the tour itinerary; gratuities throughout the tour for wait staff at dinners, hospitality staff at hotels or B&Bs.
Not included: Optional activities or independent travel during the tour; laundry; telephone; mini-bar; alcohol; beverages and food outside of the contracted breakfasts and dinners as presented at a hotel or restaurant (these extra items will be billed to you before leaving the hotel or restaurant); Travel Protection; and all other items of a personal nature. Gratuities for your tour guide, local hosts, local guides, and tour driver are not included in the tour price and are discretionary.
Solo travelers and single supplements: En France Tours will find a roommate for solo travelers if rooms and roommates are available and compatible. If not possible, or if you prefer a private room, you will be charged a single supplement of $70.00 per night.
Reservation: Your place will be reserved at the moment we receive your deposit of $500.00 with your completed and signed application. Reservations will be accepted up to 30 days prior to departure if space is available.
Payments and Balance due: In addition to your deposit, a $1000.00 is due 90 days prior to the start of the tour and the balance due 60 days prior to the start of the tour for each seat on each tour. If the final payment does not reach us by due date, we will assume you have canceled and we may fill your seat.
Early-Bird Discount: You will be eligible for a $100.00 discount per person if your reservation and deposit are received before 1/31/2017.
Transferring to another tour: Change in plans? Up to 60 days prior to your tour's departure, you can transfer to any other tour in the same calendar year with seats available, applying your existing deposit and with no transfer fee. If you transfer to a different tour, the price of that tour will be applied, effective on the date we confirm your transfer. Transfers less than 60 days before your tour's departure may not be possible.
Refund and Cancellation: Deposits for reservation are refundable in full within 14 days from the date they are received. Cancellation within 59 days before departure will result in full refund (less non-refundable deposit of $300.00). Within 30 to 59 days before departure cancellation results in charge of 35% of land cost plus cost of any additional services rendered. Cancellation within 30 days before departure results in loss of all moneys received.
Claims: All claims must be made in writing within 60 days after termination of a tour. Land cost is quoted as a package; no partial refunds will be given for unused services.
Insurance: While En France Tours will use its best efforts to ensure that adequate measures will be taken, be aware that before and during your tour, certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control. En France Tours will not have liability regarding provision of medical care that may be rendered. By agreeing to enroll in a tour and/or optional excursions you agree that you will hold En France Tours harmless regarding any provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care rendered. En France Tours strongly recommends that you protect yourself and your travel cost by checking your current medical insurance policy coverage abroad and purchasing travel insurance to cover medical emergency, lost, and trip cancellation.
En France Tours and its agents give notice that all tickets, vouchers and coupons issued by them and all arrangements for transport or conveyance or for hotel accommodations made by them are made by them as agents for the participant upon express condition that En France shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle or through the acts or default of the company or person engaged in conveying the participants or in carrying out the arrangements, activities, or tours, or otherwise in connection therewith, or of any hotel proprietor or employee. En France and/or its agents assume no responsibility for losses or incidental expense due to delay or changes in schedules, hotel overbooking or defaults, sickness, accident, death, weather, strikes, war, quarantine, acts of terrorism or the willful or negligent acts of any other tour members or any other cause whatsoever. All losses or expenses arising from such eventualities are the responsibility of the participant. Personal property such as baggage, clothing, cameras, day packs, and other personal belongings is at the owner's risk throughout the tour.

However it is your responsibility to verify all visa and passport requirements to enter the European Union at the time you will travel. You can find information on-line by visiting the Travel.State.Gov or consulates of France in the US. The process of obtaining a visa and/or passport can take up to three months or more.
Minimum/Maximum Operations: Tours are based on a minimum of 4 participants. For fewer than 4, a special small-group supplement will be charged.
Participation: For the safety and interest of the tour group as a whole, En France Tours reserves the right to accept or reject any tour participant and to remove any tour participant whose conduct is deemed incompatible in regard to the well being of the other participants. En France Tours will not refund or cover any cost or expenses incurred for termination of tour arrangements related to unacceptable behavior.
Participants under age 18 must be accompanied on the tour by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for participating in all tour activities in which the child partakes.
En France Reserves the Right: (1) To cancel tour prior to departure, in which case full refund, less any charges by travel agents for third party booking, will constitute full settlement to the participant. (2) To substitute hotels of similar category to those specified. (3) To alter the itinerary or reverse the places to be visited. (4) To increase tour prices commensurate with any decrease in the value of the U.S dollar.
Consent: The signed reservation form accompanied by the required deposit constitutes consent by the participant to all provisions contained herein. You will be required to sign a release of liability and to provide emergency contact and medical insurance information prior to joining any tour with En France Tours.
