Bonjour, Friends of En France
Tours!
| We are home after a season
of wonderful experiences in France. The hottest summer in
decades made us appreciate our comfortable lodgings, swimming
pools and air-conditioned van. But the heat didn't dampen
our delight in exploring France's fascinating cultural diversity.
We visited the quaint wine villages of Burgundy, surrounded
by vineyards that produce some of the world's finest vintages.
We savored the spicy romance of Provence; strolled along
the Left Bank of Paris; tapped to the rhythm of colorful
Basque dancers; and delighted in the warm charm of Franche-Comté.
And "naturellement", we are including the best of our new
discoveries in every one of our 2004 tours! |

and in France, and are eager to show you the two different
faces of ancient Basque lands and people.
HIKING
IN THE FRENCH ALPS:
Our own French guide Alain Lemennicier takes you along
the trails he loves best, through spectacular alpine meadows
crowned by snow-clad peaks. If you want a vacation that
